David B. Gibson '65 was a two-sport athlete at Hobart. He earned six letters, three in soccer and three in lacrosse, and served as team captain for both sports in 1965. During his senior year, Gibson was named an All-American in lacrosse. Also in that year he received two awards from Hobart, the Judge Kane Memorial Award (lacrosse MVP) and the Babe Kraus Award which recognizes the recipient as Hobart College Athlete of the Year. During his sophomore and junior years he led the soccer team in scoring. Gibson was an All-American selection in soccer in 1963.
