Dupuis holds the William Smith career records for wins (61), shutouts and goals against average (0.57), and ranks second in save percentage (.905). She also holds the single-season records for goals against average, wins and shutouts.
As a first-year, Dupuis went 10-2, logging a 0.43 GAA and .920 save percentage, helping the Herons reach the NCAA quarterfinals. Her GAA from that season still stands as the William Smith single-season record. Dupuis was named to the NYSWCAA All-Tournament team.
In 1995, Dupuis became the full-time starter and played in 21 games. She led William Smith to a 19-2 overall record and its first UCAA Championship. Dupuis compiled a 0.54 GAA and a .925 save percentage. She finished the year with a William Smith record 13 shutouts, including two in the NYSWCAA Tournament. Dupuis and the Herons won 16 straight games to start the season. William Smith made its ninth straight NCAA tournament appearance. At the end of the year, Dupuis was named to the NFHCA All-Region first team, and was a first team All-State selection.
As a junior, Dupuis guided the Herons to the NCAA tournament for the third straight year. She finished the year with a 12-8 overall record. Eight of her 12 wins came via shutout. Dupuis ended the season with a 1.12 goals against average and an .885 save percentage.
As a senior in 1997, Dupuis earned UCAA Player of the Year honors after leading the Herons to a second conference championship and added NFHCA first team All-Region and All-America praise as William Smith won the program’s second national championship. During the Herons’ NCAA tournament run, Dupuis allowed just two goals in four games, making 14 saves in a shutout of defending champion TCNJ in the quarterfinals. She turned back all four shots she faced in the 3-0 championship win over Cortland, earning a spot on the NCAA All-Tournament Team. Dupuis’ 20 wins are tied for the most in a single-season and her 12 shutouts are second most.
Dupuis earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology in 1998. She continued to share a love of field hockey serving as an assistant coach at Rensselaer for eight seasons. While at RPI, Dupuis earned a degree in industrial and organizational psychology.
