Brown was named to the 2000 NCAA Division III Kodak All-America Women's Basketball Team after receiving All-America honorable mention a year earlier. The 1999-2000 UCAA Player of the Year earned first-team All-UCAA honors in each of her final three seasons. Brown led the Herons with 11.9 points, 4.6 assists, 3.6 steals, and a .388 three-point field goal percentage. The 5-foot-6 guard became only the second player in school history to record over 100 steals in a single season. Her 101 swipes in 1999-2000 were No. 2 on the Herons' season list.Â
A four-year starter, Brown broke the William Smith career record for steals (348) and three-point field goal percentage (.392). She was the first Heron to record over 1,000 points, 300 rebounds, 300 assists, and 300 steals in a career.
