Senior goalie Nick Broadwater earned a spot on the AHCA East All-America first team. Broadwater is just the third Hobart hockey player to earn first team honors, joining Keith Longo '09 (2007-08) and Matt Wallace '11 (2010-11).
Broadwater finished his Hobart hockey career with a record-breaking senior season. He ranks first on the Hobart single season list with a 1.66 goals against average and second with a .939 save percentage. Broadwater posted shutouts of Salve Regina, Manhattanville, Nazareth, and Curry to set another Statesmen single season record. His 15 wins as a senior also rank second in Hobart history. Broadwater sat atop the ECAC West and ranked third in the nation in goals against average. He was second in both the country and the conference in save percentage and tied for fourth in Division III in shutouts.
Broadwater, a three-time All-ECAC West selection and Rookie of the Year in 2009-10, played in 82 career games. He sits in first on the Hobart career lists for shutouts (11) and ranks second in wins (45), and saves (2,275). He finished his career first in and goals against average (2.25) (now second) and second in save percentage (.927) (now third). Broadwater posted a 45-26-7 career record in goal.
