A cornerback, Alexander was named to the 2007 D3football.com All-America third team. He finished seventh in the nation in both interceptions (0.7/g) and passes defended (1.9/g). The Liberty League Defensive Player of the Year led the conference with eight interceptions, including three in the regular season finale at Rochester. Alexander also led the league with 13 pass break ups. He was third on the team with 57 tackles, posting a career-high 11 stops in Hobart’s 27-26 upset of 22nd-ranked Carnegie Mellon.
A two-year starter, Alexander finished his career with 142 tackles, 30 pass break ups, 10 interceptions, five fumble recoveries, and three forced fumbles.
