An attackman, Tambroni was a three-time USILA Division III All-American. In 1990, he produced a career-high 69 points on 38 goals and 31 assists and earned second team All-America honors. In 1991, he logged 23 goals and 20 assists for 43 points and again earned a spot on the second team. In 1992, Tamboni recorded 33 goals and 24 assists for 57 points and garnered first team All-America recognition.
