A 1992 NSCAA All-America first team selection, Saunders set Hobart career records for goals (44), assists (26), and points (114). As a senior, he served as team captain, scoring a program record 18 goals to lead Hobart to an undefeated regular season, a No. 1 national ranking, and the program's first invitation to the NCAA Division III Championship.
