Okvist earned NSCAA All-America third team honors in 1993. A defender, she helped the Herons to an 18-0-2 overall record and a trip to the NCAA tournament championship round. She contributed offensively with one goal and three assists for five points. Okvist led William Smith to 14 shutouts in 1993. She was named to the 1993 NCAA Division III Women's Soccer All-Tournament Team.
