Vickers was named an ICSA All-American coed skipper honorable mention. He and Kate Klempen sailed together in 15 regattas in 2021-22, including two of the three spring national championship regattas. Vickers and Klempen helped HWS finish 14th at the Team Race National Championship. They placed 11th in A Division at the Coed Dinghy National Championship.  During the regular season, Vickers and Klempen teamed up to win the Admiral Moore Team Race and finish second at the John Jackson Memorial Team Race. They added a third place finish at the Georgetown Team Race to kick off the spring season. In the fall they finished first in A Division, helping HWS win the Kings Point Dinghy Open. Vickers and Klempen were third in A Division at the War Memorial Regatta and fifth at the Atlantic Coast Championship finals.
