Leitner was named a 2025 United Soccer Coaches First Team All-American. 

A native of Mahopac, New York, Leitner started all 18 games he played in. He led the Statesmen with nine goals and 19 points. Leitner led the Liberty League with four game-winning goals. He scored in three of Hobart's first four games, including both goals in a 2-1 come-from-behind victory at Utica. Leitner also scored twice in a victory over Brockport.
