A linebacker, Booth earned All-America honors following his sophomore and senior seasons.

In 2000, Booth earned D3football.com All-America honorable mention. He gave opposing offensive coordinators nightmares, turning in 48 tackles—including 15 for a loss and three sacks—and intercepted a team-leading six passes, while breaking up 13 others. Booth also recovered three fumbles, forced another, and blocked a kick.

In 2002, Booth again earned D3football.com All-America honorable mention. The UCAA Defensive Player of the Year Booth led a swarming defense that allowed just two rushing touchdowns all season and finished the year with 27 takeaways. Booth led the team in tackles for loss (9.5), forced fumbles (3), and blocked kicks (2). He was second on the team with a career-high 58 tackles, including a team best 41 solo stops.

For his career, Booth compiled 163 tackles, 42.5 tackles for loss, 10 sacks, and 11 interceptions.
