Lynch garnered IWLCA All-America first team honors in 2003. A stifling defender for the Herons, Lynch helped anchor a defense that posted a stingy 6.37 goals against average in 2003. She led the team in caused turnovers with 25, while her 14 points ranked eighth on the team and tops among all defenders. A standout on the field hockey team as well, she was second on the lacrosse squad in ground balls with 66. Selected to the UCAA All-Tournament team, Lynch amassed 164 ground balls and 119 caused turnovers during her four seasons at William Smith.
