Mahoney earned IWLCA All-America second team honors as a senior. She notched nine goals and eight assists for 17 points in 1992, helping the Herons to a 15-1 overall record and an appearance in the national championship game. Mahoney scored two goals in a 9-4 win over Cortland. She finished her career with 29 goals and 17 assists for 46 points.
