Karagosian was named to the 1996 Don Hansen's Football Gazette All-America first team and the 1996 Sports Information Directors All-America second team at tight end. He produced 61 receptions for 740 yards and eight touchdowns that season. All three marks represent the most productive season by a Hobart tight end. Karagosian also set a Hobart season record for two point conversions that year with five.
