Wiltsey was a 1958 USILA All-American honorable mention attackman. He also captained the Statesmen that year.

A stellar three-sport athlete, Wiltsey played basketball, lacrosse, and soccer for the Statesmen. The triple threat was awarded the 1958 Francis L. “Babe” Kraus Award as the senior athlete of the year.
