Donnaruma earned IWLCA All-America first team honors in 1998 and 1997, and was named to the IWLCA All-America second team in 1996. Aas a senior midfielder, she led the Herons with 46 ground balls and 39 caused turnovers in her senior season. Donnaruma chipped in two goals and an assist for three points. She helped the Herons to a 14-2 record in 1998. As a sophomore, she ranked third on the team with 46 ground balls and added 10 goals and five assists. In her career, she registered 183 ground balls, 12 goals and four assists for 16 points.
