A coxswain, Hurwitz was named to the 2019 CRCA All-America first team after piloting the nationally-ranked Heron varsity eight to silver medal at the Liberty League Championships and a top 10 finish at the NIRC. She is the seventh Heron coxswain to receive All-America honors.
