Kieth Longo was Hobart hockey's first two-time American Hockey Coaches Association All-American East selection. As a junior, he was named to the first team and earned a spot on the second team as a senior.
One of the best goaltenders in program history, Longo played in 88 games, posting a 51-27-9 overall record. He holds Hobart's career record for wins (51), ties (9), saves (2,636), and save percentage (.930). At the time of graduation, his 2.30 goals against average was also a program record. His .930 save percentage was an NCAA Division III record and still ranks 17th all-time. Longo was a two-time ECAC West first team pick.
As a junior, Longo was 14-7-2 with a 2.42 GAA and a .931 save percentage. He made 771 saves. At the time Longo's 14 wins matched Hobart's record for wins in a season. He was fourth in the country in save percentage and 22nd in GAA.
Longo one upped those numbers as a senior. He posted an 18-7-2 overall record with a 2.08 GAA and a .939 save percentage. Longo finished the year third in the nation in save percentage, 11th in GAA and 18th in winning percentage.
Longo added USCHO East All-Star first team accolades as a senior, and was awarded the Francis L. “Babe” Kraus Award as Hobart's most outstanding senior athlete.
Longo still holds the Hobart season records for wins (18), ties (5) and saves (876).
