Hackett was named to the 2018 American Football Coaches Association All-America second team and D3football.com All-America honorable mention. He led the Statesmen in scoring with 64 points, making all nine of his field goal attempts and all 37 of his PATs. In his sophomore season, Hackett broke or tied Hobart records for points in a game by a kicker, field goals made in a game, most consecutive PATs made, most consecutive field goals made, and career field goals made.
