In Hobart's next game against the defending Liberty League champion, St. Lawrence, he had four solo tackles and his first interception as the Statesmen defense pitched a 23-0 shutout. Woodard's hot start continued a week later at Union where he notched five tackles, two interceptions, and a forced fumble.

Woodard logged a season-high eight tackles, including 1.5 for a loss against Rensselaer, and closed out the regular season with six solo stops and an interception at Rochester. In the NCAA Playoffs at No. 7 Wesley, he blocked a punt that was returned for a Hobart touchdown.

In addition to leading the conference in interception return yards (89) and passes defended (1.75/g), Woodard ranked second in interceptions (0.5/g).
