An attackman, Veltman earned USILA Division I All-America honorable mention in 2008. He ranked 15th in the country in goals per game (2.36) and 21st in points per game (3.36). Veltman scored a team-high 26 goals in 2008. A first team All-ECAC selection, Veltman led the conference in goals per game and was second in points per game. He finished his career with 109 goals and 53 assists for 162 points, the most by a Division I Statesman.
