Daniels was named to two AHCA All-America teams during his time in Geneva. A three-time national champion, he was named to the AHCA All-America East first team following his junior yar and the second team following his senior season. 

A two-time AHCA All-American, Daniels played in 119 games during his career, setting the Hobart record for games played when he took his first shift against Hamilton in the national championship game. Daniels had 49 goals, 68 assists and 117 points during his career. He is fourth on Hobart's career list in assists and eighth in points.

Daniels was one of four players to finish the 2025-26 season with 30-plus points for the Statesmen. The senior captain, Daniels had 37 points on 16 goals and 21 assists. He was 18th in the nation in power-play goals (6). 

The 2025 NEHC Player of the Year, Daniels was 2025 CCM/AHCA All-America first team. The 2024 NEHC Player of the Year leads the Statesmen with 18 goals, 22 assists and 40 points. A finalist for the Sid Watson Award, Daniels was fifth in the nation in game-winning goals (5), ninth in short-handed goals (2), 18th in points per game (1.29), 22nd in goals per game (0.58) and 33rd in points per game (0.71).
