Chojnacka earned IWLCA All-America second team honors in 1996. She played 16 games in goal for the Herons that year, her sophomore season. She posted a 13-3 record, a 7.02 goals against average and a .657 save percentage. Chojnacka turned aside a total of 211 shots. She made a season-high 18 saves in a 14-8 win over Hartwick in the NYSWCAA Tournament championship game.
