A two-time Kodak/WBCA first team All-American, Goodell helped William Smith to a 100-9 overall record, four consecutive conference championships, and appearances in four straight NCAA Tournaments. The three-time conference player of the year was twice named the Most Valuable Player of the Chase Scholarship Tournament. Goodell was named the 1997 Marion Harrison Greene Award winner as William Smith’s outstanding senior athlete.

Goodell averaged a career-high 20.9 ppg and 8.3 rpg as a junior and 20.4 ppg and a career-high 10.4 rpg as a senior, earning a spot on the WBCA first team following both seasons.

Goodell is without question the most dominant basketball player to ever wear a Heron uniform. The native of Penn Yan, N.Y., holds the William Smith career records for points (2,042), rebounds (887), and field goals made (841).

As a first-year, she was named the rookie of the year by the UCAA, and the ECAC.
