Cappello was named second team NFHCA All-American in 2013, she lead her team in points (38), goals (15), assists (8). Cappello was selected for NFHCA All-North Atlantic first team as well as earning her spot on the All-Liberty League First team. In 2013, Cappello finished her career with 119 career points, goals (52), assists (15), and is currently ranked 6th on the All-Time list at William Smith. She was the fifth Heron to record 50 goals in her career.
