Joinnides earned IWLCA and USWLA first team All-America honors in 1997. She was also named an IWLCA second team All-American in 1996. An attacker, Joinnides led the Herons with 47 goals and 67 points as a senior. She had 20 assists and 26 ground balls. In 1997, she led William Smith to a 16-2 overall record and a trip to the NCAA tournament championship round. In 1996, she registered 73 points on 55 goals and 18 assists and added 44 ground balls. In her career, Joinnides posted 160 goals and 47 assists for 207 points.Â
For field hockey, Joinnides was named first team NFHCA All-American in 1996. Joinnides is currently ranked ninth on the all-time list for single season points with 49 points.
