Defenseman Brad Richard was named to the AHCA East All-America second team. A two-year captain, and four-time All-ECAC West honoree, Richard was named the ECAC West Defensive Player of the Year. He anchored the Statesmen defense that ranksed first in the ECAC West and sixth in the nation, allowing an average of just 1.85 goals per game. Richard played in 20 games, and recorded four goals and seven assists.
Richard played in 97 career games and registered 22 goals and 42 assists for 64 points. He garnered ECAC West All-USCHO.com honors twice and was named to the ECAC West All-Tournament team after helping the Statesmen to their second ever ECAC West Tournament title in 2012.
