Munnelly earned IWLCA All-America second team honors as a junior. In 1992, she helped the Herons to a 15-1 overall record and an appearance in the national championship game. Munnelly ranked second on the team with 40 goals and 21 assists for 61 points. She scored four goals and added two assists in wins over Oneonta State (18-1) and Hartwick (16-3) and tallied six goals in a 14-1 victory over Union. Munnelly finished her Heron lacrosse career with 125 goals and 49 assists for 174 points.
