Tarantino earned D3soccer.com second team All-America honors in 2011. She started all 22 matches as a senior, scoring the game-winning goal in the Liberty League Tournament Championship, which earned her All-Tournament recognition. She merited a spot on the NSCAA All-East second team and All-Liberty League second team. One of the most aggressive defenders in the nation, Tarantino played her way onto the NCAA All-Tournament Team as the Heron defense gave up just two goals in five matches.

Equally impressive off the field, Tarantino was recognized as the Elite 89 Award winner as the student-athlete at the NCAA Championship with the highest cumulative grade point average. She also joined DiCenzo on the Capital One Academic All-America® first team.

A four-year starter, Tarantino logged five goals, including three game winners, and two assists in 84 career matches. She too helped the Herons notch 61 shutouts since arriving on campus.
