Love earned USILAAll-America honorable mention in 2013. The attackman was the nation's third leading scorer. Love led the Statesmen with 55 points, including a Hobart Division I season record 45 goals.

Some of Love's best performances in 2013 came against Hobart's toughest opponents. He recorded three goals and two assists against national semifinalist Cornell. In a 13-12 upset of national semifinalist Syracuse, Love produced a career-high seven points, counting the game-winning goal among his six tallies. Love also recorded a hat trick against defending national champion Loyola.
