After a successful rookie season, Hine returned for another impressive season in his sophomore year that saw him add two more All-America honors to his resume. At the 2025 USCSA National Championships, Hine finished ninth in the giant slalom and 13th in the slalom to bring his career total to five All-American awards. On Mount Bachelor, Hine finished 11th out of 143 racers, helping the Statesmen clinch fifth place overall. He concluded his sophomore season with nine top 10 finishes, including a first-place finish in the giant slalom at the Mideast Conference Championships. Hine was named to the Mideast Conference First Team for his successful second season for Hobart.


Hine was named a 2024 U.S. Collegiate Ski & Snowboard Association (USCSA) All-American in the skier cross, giant slalom and slalom events. At the USCSA National Championships on Whiteface Mountain in Lake Placid, New York, Hine raced to a 7th place finish out of 138 skiers. In skier cross, Hine finished ninth overall out of 66 racers with a time of 41.75. He then finished in 12th place in the giant slalom event after stopping the clock at 1:14.14. Hine finished 11th overall in the slalom event, clocking in at 1:41.06 after two runs to earn his third All-American honor of the week. He is the first Statesmen skier to be named an All-American in program history.
