In 2016, Shue was named a first team NSCAA All-American and a third team D3soccer.com All-American. Her record-breaking senior season saw her break the William Smith record for assists in a season with 15 and move to first on the Heron career assists list with 49. Shue also led William Smith with career-highs of 13 goals and 41 points. She wrapped up the season ranked fourth in the nation in total assists.

Shue also earned all-region, ECAC North All-Star and all-league first team honors. She was tabbed the ECAC North Offensive Player of the Year and the Liberty League Player of the Year. Shue started all 87 games she played in at William Smith registering 34 goals and 49 assists for 117 points.
