A three-time national champion, Fontana was named an AHCA All-America East First Team All-American following his senior season.Â
A finalist for the 2026 Sid Watson Award, Fontana played in 31 games. He led the Statesmen with 21 goals and was second with 42 points. Fontana was seventh in the nation in power-play goals (7), ninth in the nation in game-winning goals (4), 13th in the nation in goals per game (0.68) and 18th in the nation in points per game (1.35).Â
Fontana was named the 2025 NCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player after scoring the game-winning goal in the national championship game.Â
