Hartman was named to the CCM/AHCA All-America first team after helping the Statesmen capture their second consecutive national championship in 2024.Â
Hartman played in all 31 games this season, leading the team with 20 goals, 25 assists and 45 points. All three totals rank in the top 10 in Hobart's single-season lists. Hartman scored six game-winning goals this season, second on the Statesmen's single-season list. He kickstarted his season when he recorded a combined 14 points (5g, 9a) in wins over Brockport, UMass Boston and Johnson & Wales. Against the Eagles, he recorded three assists. A week later in the game against the Beacons, Hartman set a Hobart single-game record with five assists and six points. The next day against the Wildcats, he had a Statesman record four goals. In total, Hartman had 14 multi-point games. He is credited with the game-winning goals in the NEHC Championship game against Skidmore and the national semifinals against Utica. Hartman, who was named the Elite 90 Award recipient as the player with the highest GPA at the site of the final, finished the year seventh in the nation in points per game (1.45), 13th in goals per game (0.65) and 15th in assists per game (0.81).
