Bonney was named to the NABC All-America second team and the D3hoops.com All-America third team following the 2013-14 season. The Liberty League Player of the Year averaged 20.4 points and a league-leading 11.0 rebounds during his All-America campaign. He reached double figures in scoring in every game, notching a season-high 31 at Clarkson and adding 30 in an upset of No. 21 Scranton in the first round of the NCAA Championship. Bonney made 11 or more field goals in a game six times, despite attempting more than 20 only once. He was second in the conference with a .578 field goal percentage.
 
A dominant force on the glass, Bonney grabbed 318 boards in 2013-14, 74 more than any other player in the conference. His total rebounds ranked 10th in the nation and fifth on Hobart's single season list. Bonney grabbed 19 rebounds at Hartwick, equaling his career-high set in the first round of 2013 NCAA Championship at Rhode Island College. He posted 21 double-doubles, second in the nation, in 29 games.
 
An all-around player, Bonney also produced the best totals of his career in assists (45), blocked shots (34), and steals (39), leading the team in the latter two categories.
 
A three-time All-Liberty League selection, including consecutive unanimous first team honors, Bonney appeared in a record 114 games for the Statesmen. He is also the all-time leader in points (1,738), field goals made (680), and field goal percentage (.583). Bonney eclipsed the Hobart season record for field goal percentage in 2012-13 with a .624 success rate.
