Andy Brennan was named a RBK Hockey Second Team East All-American, as chosen by the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA).Â
A 2009 All-ECAC West First Team selection, Brennan led the team to a 72-31-9 record and three NCAA Tournament appearances, including two trips to the national semifinals. He recorded 63 career points (12g, 51a) and helped to lead the Hobart defense that was rated 10th in the nation in scoring defense (2.28 GAA), and shut down the power play of opponents with a success record of 85.1 percent.
After his senior season, Brennan earned a number of accolades. He was named to the NCAA Division III All-Tournament team, the USCHO.com All-East Second Team, the All-ECAC West First Team and the RBK All-American Second Team. Brennan was also named to the ECAC West All-Academic Team. His hard work and dedication culminated in the team honoring him as the co-winner of the Holden Award, which is give to members of the Hobart hockey team who exhibit the best character, leadership and sportsmanship.
