An AHCA second team East All-American and D3hockey.com third team All-American, Chimienti posted a .946 save percentage and a 1.17 goals against average in 2015-16. His save percentage ranked first on the Hobart single season list and his goals against average second. Chimienti was 11-3-2 in goal that season. His 30-save shutout in the ECAC West Tournament championship game earned him a spot on the All-Tournament team. Chimienti finished his senior season ranked second in the nation in save percentage and eighth in GAA.
